As soon as the bell rang for lunch, violet was surrounded by almost everyone in class to ask her questions about herself and her past. Since john was one of the ones asking questions I walked the halls to find a place to eat lunch. As I was walking the halls I heard a voice i know all to well call out behind me.
"Hey freak" the voice said.
"What do you want max?" I asked as I turned around to my main bully. He has big build and come from a rich family. He has blond hair and blue eyes. He is also the most popular guy in the school.
"I heard that there is a new girl in your class, am I right?" He asked and I nodded yes to the question. "Well I want you to stay away from her so she is not infected by your weirdness."
"Yay, that's not possible cause I sit right next to her in class." I stated. I can see that I was pushing his buttons. So he is not to happy with me right now.
"Well you better stay away from her or else." Max commanded. The tone was threatening but I could care less whether she comes to talk to me or not. Plus I was not in the mood to deal with him any further.
"Or else what." I said. "Are you going to beat me to a pulp."
"Why you..." max said angrily as he raised his fist to hit me. I raised my arms in response to block my face from being hit. But when the punch never came I lowered them to see why. Violet was there holding his fist with an angry look in her eyes.
"I would not try that again if I were you." She said angrily. "I may not look like it but I am not as weak as I look. So I advise you to just turn around and walk away."
She released her grip on his hand as he started to walk away grumbling under his breath. I turned to violet to see that she has calmed down some. She turned to look at me as I was caught staring. I turned away in a blush as she giggled at me. 'Her laugh is cute... wait what did i just say cute.' I thought. I shack my head to get the thought out of my head.
"Hey, want to eat lunch together?" She asked after she stoped giggling. "I meanlike old times and to also catch up on things."
"Sure why not." I said as we started walking. As we were walking I thanked her for earlier and she said anything for an old friend. After that we walked in silence till we found a place to sit. Once we were eatting we started to catch up on things.
"So how have you been after that day?" Violet asked.
"I have been good. I am also use to my new eye now." I said. "How about you, what have you been up to since you left?"
"Well other then exploring the world and killing demons, not much. I have gotten good with the weapons I use. I also found out what I am exactly." She said. I was about to ask what she ment before she said. "Well thats a story for another day. Come on we should be heading back to class now."
I glanced up at the clock to relize the she is right. Lunch was almost over by now, so we got up and tossed our lunches. As we headed back to class I remembered something. "Hey violet, how did you get to me so fast and know where I was in the school when you were surrounded by people when I left?" I asked violet.
She grinned at me as she said. "As for how I got out of the crowd is that I just used my powers. To how I found you it was from your eye there. I can sense where you are because it used to be mine till I gave it to you after the incident."
"Oh, right." I said. "I forgot about that part and that you can regenerate and heal any wound you get." After I said that we arrived at the classroom and walked in.
