ARES’S POV

She looked gorgeous; her flyaway hairs blowing in the wind surrounding her face. I could only smile at how amazing she looked despite my anger at her looking amazing for someone else. Timothy didn’t deserve her, or her time and I hated that he was able to get a date out of her.

She was mine and I didn’t want anyone else to have her especially not anyone like Timothy.

“Are you going to talk or just stand there staring at me? I do have a date to get back to,” she said.

I missed her snarky comments this morning. It had only been a day and I missed everything about her. I couldn’t allow myself to go another day without seeing or speaking to her.

“You look beautiful. Is that so bad?” I asked.

She rolled her eyes, but that didn’t stop the cute smile that covered her face. She may have been mad at me, but she was still happy to see me. Something about me made her happy and I could live with that.
