Chapter 15: Chapter 15: Kendra’s Advice

LEILANI’S POV

What the hell has gotten into me?! I was not supposed to give him my number, invite him out on a date – not a date – or text him afterward. This was not a part of the plan, not that there was an official plan, to begin with. I had taken the ride because it was cold and his jacket was warm, plus I loved his scent; it was masculine without being overbearing. I hated a man who was drenched in cologne, they always ended up smelling like skunks to me.

I groaned and stepped out of my heels while tugging at the zipper on the back of my dress. I unzipped my dress letting the sleeves fall off my arms while the rest of the dress cascaded down my body. I stepped out of the dress kicking it slightly to the side. I’d pick it up later but right now I needed advice.

Walking to my closet, I grabbed a clean pair of pajamas and slipped them on, exhaling sharply at the feel of the soft fabric against my skin.
