Chapter 6: You Are a Good Person

"I-I wasn't trying to seduce you..." Maisy explained. "I was looking for the bathroom because the sweat is making me sticky..."

It was as if Jay had finally felt how sweaty Maisy was. His expression froze. In the next second, he pushed her away in disgust. then headed into the bathroom and washed his hands. Maisy found his reaction interesting and couldn't stop herself from studying him for a while.

"Um... So, where is the bathroom?" Maisy asked a few seconds later. "And do you have any clothes that I can wear?"

Jay glanced at the lady as if he was trying to warn her to shut up with his stare. However, in the next second, her innocent and confused expression seemed to have calmed him down. He walked back into the room and threw an oversized white shirt to her. "I don't have clothes that fit you. Wear this." He then pointed to where the bathroom was.

"Thank you." Maisy genuinely smiled at the man. "You sure are a good person."
