Sensing his gloomy mood, Maisy wanted to run away. "Lucas wants to eat ice cream. I'll go buy it."

Just as she was about to leave, her hand was grabbed by Jay. He pulled her onto his lap. Maisy's nervous and chaotic breathing sprayed on Jay's face. It itched. Jay laughed softly and looked at Maisy, who was like a cat on hot tin roof. He smiled and said, "You should know that I'm not a good person." Jay lowered his voice and whispered into her ear, "If you keep triggering me, you'll get what you deserve."

Maisy's back was numb. Her ears were so itchy that she shrank back. The way she looked at Jay became even more nervous, which made Jay fonder of her. He pinched the back of her slender neck, and his big hand spanked her butt gently. "Go."
