Chapter 51: Bitten By a Dog

"Maisy?" When Bruce went out to get some water, he happened to see Maisy, who wasn't in a good condition.

She was wearing a man's shirt. Bruce's expression darkened. Whose shirt could it be? "Whose shirt are you wearing?" Bruce's tone was calm, but the question he asked was straightforward.

Maisy was at a loss for words. The events that had just happened replayed in her mind. She stammered and omitted those parts that couldn't be known by others. She roughly explained the situation to Bruce.

As Bruce listened to Maisy's awkward tone, he felt a little puzzled. However, he still nodded his head in understanding. "Alright, hurry up and get busy." Bruce smiled gently and didn't ask anything.

Maisy nodded her head and heaved a sigh of relief inside. She absolutely couldn't let outsiders know about what happened with Jay!
