Chapter 46: Became Her Sugar Daddy Again

Maisy removed her makeup and came out of the room. When she saw Lucas eating the cake with full concentration, she found it funny and cute. She took a spoonful and took a bite as well. Her eyes narrowed when she was comforted by the sweet smell of cream. She even took another bite.

"Mommy, are you close with Uncle Bruce?" Lucas couldn't help but feel a sense of crisis when she saw how much she liked the cake.

Maisy raised her eyebrows and sat down beside him. She picked up the remote control and changed the channel, she said casually, "We're old friends. Of course, we get along well. Otherwise, how can we do business together?" She had always treated Lucas as a peer and chatted with him. She wouldn't deliberately hide it just because he was a child.

Lucas was disappointed for a moment and asked, "What about Uncle Jay?"
