Chapter 36: Queen Bee

Irene loved to strategize before she walked into the midst of greedy riches. She knew that as soon as she approached the guests, they would surround her and Sebastian like bees.

But she didn't want to socialize for nothing, so she aimed for the queen bee of the elite community—a woman who loved to wear luxurious diamonds and looked beautiful in them. But more than that, this woman had to be respected by others.

So Irene used the excuse of touching up her makeup to leave the hall with her husband for a moment.

"Do you have someone in mind that fits my reference?" Irene sat in front of the mirror and reapplied lipstick to her lips. 

Meanwhile, Sebastian watched his wife from behind. He unwrapped a piece of candy and popped it into his mouth. "Elizabeth Pearson could be your queen bee."

Irene turned around. "Oh, I know her a little. Tell me more about her."

Elizabeth Pearson, a former supermodel who was famous ten years ago.
