Chapter 26: Moving Separately

When he received the parcel in his office, Landon didn't want to waste any more time and flew all the way to another country to find Lucy. The picture showed a bustling street, probably the main street of Virela, and the stores were all crowded with customers.

But upon coming to the exact location where the photo was taken, Landon was left to hold onto nothing.

He knew he wouldn't find Lucy in that place. Not when she might have gone to another after the picture was taken. Besides, only God knows when she was photographed.

Yet, despite all that, he couldn't give up the tiny chance that maybe Lucy would be there.

"Sir, I've asked around with the photo of Mrs. Westwood, but no one seems to know her," Alaric reported. He looked messy, with his hair sticking up and bloodshot eyes.
