Chapter 48: Enraged

After getting out of her jeep, Mrs. Betty called her mother, who had traveled earlier in the day.

".... Please be careful." As she got inside the car, she said. "Then, thank God. I also warned you against going there. They are capable of managing themselves. Just be careful. I get assistance from Luis with those items in the back of the car." After she said so, one of her bodyguards turned to face the back of the car and nodded.

"All right, mom. "I hear you." She said to the caller, got up from the back seat to get her luggage, finished the call, and tossed the phone into the bag she was holding.

She turned around and headed to the front of the house, where she was startled by what she saw. She furrowed her brow deeply, making it evident that she was upset.
