Chapter 102: SYLUS: She…stayed.

Two weeks in the hospital now was a long agonizing time. It felt worse having found that Olive escaped, not by himself but with the help of my own sister. Everything else was easy to handle, including everything I knew my sister was responsible for, but this…this felt like a knife to the heart. 

Stacy didn't hate me, at least I didn't think she did. Now though, I couldn't be sure of that claim, because no excuse could ever explain what she'd done. 

I've been in pain from the very second I opened my eyes and even till now, I was apparently on some pain killers to help with the constant pain that shoots at my chest at every single movement I make. The pain wasn't my problem, but the panicked expression I always saw cross Harley's face. She was afraid to lose me in any way and somehow without even knowing it, I'd begun learning to mask my pain—to hide it so I wouldn't have to see that fearful look on her face.
