Chapter 122: What a Tacky Taste

Back at the Penthouse,  Aryana spent a peaceful dinner with Erik.  Erik went to his study and called the bodyguard.  He was angry.

"I assigned you to watch over her and how did that man come near her." Erik's voice was icy cold.  The body guard on the other line felt a chill ran down his spine.

"I'm sorry Boss.  I failed Miss Jones.  She was still at the ward when I need to pee.  When I came back, she was already outside the hotel and that man was grabbing her by the wrist."  He paused  and waited for Erik to say something but Erik was silent.

"I broke the man's right hand and he is still at the car park.  Punish me the way you see fit boss.  I failed on my job."  The man on the other line held his breath as he waited for Erik to tell him his punishment.

"I'll let it pass this time but there will be no next time." 

"Thank you Boss.  I will not fail next time."
