Yao Ran acted like she wanted to shake her head at first, then decide against it at the last minute. She appeared to have thought of something before she nodded with forced reluctance. "That would be fine, but I don't think there would be any more problems in the future. It just hurt for a little while, that's all."

Her words fueled the guests' imaginations, and now they were more inclined to presume that there really was something between her and Yang Nian.

Yao Tang glanced at Yao Ran's supposedly sprained ankle. Her eyes narrowed slightly, though she eventually leaned against the banister and played with her phone.

"Young Master Yang," someone suddenly called out from the top of the stairs. "Which young lady is injured?"

They all turned in the direction of the voice and found a doctor in a white coat striding over.

Yao Ran perked up in surprise.
