His mood was quite strange.

"Is something wrong?" Yao Rong furrowed his eyebrows.

As he said this, he slowly moved the entire chessboard to the other side of the table, afraid that the older man would change his mind and slam it back onto the table.

Noticing this, the man grinned. "You act like I'm going to destroy it."

It wasn't like he'd ruin his own chessboard!

"I'm just being cautious, that's all." Yao Rong smiled. "It's the first gift my daughter has ever given me. It's only natural that I'll take care of it."

At the mention of his daughter, the smile on his face froze.

Yao Tang had snatched his chess set and gave it to him. Seeing as it was his daughter who had given that to Yao Rong, could his daughter be none other than Yao Tang herself?

His frown deepened.
