Before Yao Tang could finish her sentence, the male student rushed to speak, "I understand everything. I already know what to do next too." He bobbed his head rapidly. "Don't worry, I'll do my best and make sure I'll do well on the next exam. I won't let you down! I'll even—"

"Stop!" she hurriedly said before he continued.

The student immediately shut his mouth and stared at her, his hands still shaking. Was she going to be angry at him?

Yao Tang had a complicated expression on her face as she studied the boy's frightened face. After a moment of silence, she slowly nodded. "Okay, if that's what you say."

"Thank you!" The student hurriedly nodded and raced out of her way, too afraid to even look in her direction.

She leaned back against her seat and glanced up at the supposedly large crowd. However, the long line had already dispersed. Everyone had returned to their seats, refusing to look at her.
