Chapter 16: 16. The Hotest Confirmation

Like a fish that's been entangled in a net, there's nowhere to escape but to follow the tide of fate. If you live long you will feel freedom again, if not then you will end up in the frying pan.

--------------------------

"Since when were they close?" Erlang opened his voice after Sella and Bintang disappeared at the end of the corridor.

"Huh? Who? Star with Sella? Or Maura with that guy?" asked Gilang looking a little confused.

"Tsk, forget it."

"Maura huh?"

Erlang growled annoyed. Without answering Gilang's question, the man immediately entered the cafeteria with an unpredictable look.

Gilang shrugged his shoulders, what's the harm in trying? After that followed Erlang's footsteps until the man stopped suddenly.

"Why stop?"

Gilang followed the direction of Erlang's gaze. His irises stopped as he stared at the slightly excited cafeteria occupants. There's been a lot of ruckus at every table that most of Libra's house occupied.

Question after question began to creep in all directions. Erlang raised his eyebrows when the name of his dorm was mentioned.

From that unclear conversation, Erlang caught a few things, first they were talking about the secret relationship between him and the Libra girl.

Both hostile looks and huge question marks were fixed on the very center table filled with several girls, one of whom he recognized.

Maura .. the girl was desperately denying.

"Please, this is a misunderstanding, ok." she exclaimed. Meanwhile, her colleagues did not pay attention to her at all.

"That's right. Last night you weren't in the dormitory until after midnight, so it's all right, you two are dating!" shouted one of the girls who was right beside Maura.

"Did you guys sleep together?"

"HEY!!" shouted the only man sitting opposite Maura. His eyes bulged, full of judgment.

"Maura answer honestly, or I'll mix it up to your mom!" he snapped.

Erlang looked at him disapprovingly. He felt that the man was too positional as a friend. Or he has feelings for his girl.

'His girl?'

Damn it!!

Erlang chuckled softly, since when did he claim Maura as his girl? This is not true. In his heart there is only Sella and Maura only one form of betting nothing more.

Gilang's soft clapping immediately woke him up. The man turned and saw Gilang chuckling softly.

"Don't be jealous, he's Maura's cousin. His name is Gio," Gilang whispered softly. He seemed to know what his friend was feeling.

Erlang furrowed his brows, he didn't know the girl had a cousin. He was also a little annoyed when he felt that he was the only one who didn't know the ins and outs of Maura, while Bintang and Gilang knew much better.

"You don't have to be jealous, you should be jealous of the guy that Maura hugged earlier, not his cousin."

"Who's jealous! Are you kidding me?!"

Erlang shouted harshly, then stepped closer to the middle table occupied by Maura and her friends. His lips parted slightly when he saw the frustrated Maura.

He enjoyed everything.

"I already told you, last night I was looking for a file, it's just nothing more, gosh .."

Maura put her head on the table with a sigh of annoyance. Even though she has explained it many times.

"Maura.." Erlang called. He was deliberately making a fuss. Suddenly all eyes were on him, without exception. Even Gilang rolled his eyes tired of seeing his best friend's behavior.

Maura rose from her position with her eyes glaring in disbelief at him.

Erlang smiled faintly and gently pulled the empty chair next to Maura. "May I join?" he asked.

No one made a sound, still standing in the same position.

Erlang clearly knows what he is doing now will have a big impact later. Because for the three years he studied here, there was not a single woman he approached openly as he is today. Not even with Sella.

Only Maura Otkavia Magen..

"Shit.." Maura mumbled lowly while rubbing her face roughly.

--------The Best Valentine--------

Erlang entered the phoniex dormitory gasping for air after running fast. Class was over and unfortunately it was raining while he was on his way to the dormitory.

Erlang took off his uniform right in the dorm lounge. He didn't care about the eyes of the girls who were fascinated by the shape of his perfectly exposed upper body.

The strands of his hair were wet, the water droplets running down the ends, making the impression of being hot in this cold weather. Erlang sighed a few times before glancing at the awkward looking surroundings.

"What's this?" he asked, realizing that he wasn't alone here.

Almost all of the Phoniex children gathered in the front room with their respective activities, staring at him with different views. Sella furrowed her brows before looking back at the book in her lap.

Gilang dropped his body on an empty chair alone while sipping a cup of hot chocolate whose smoke was still billowing out.

Not far from Gilang's place, Bintang got up and threw his hoodie at Erlang.

"Wear clothes! Can't you see the girls are almost nosebleed," he exclaimed. After saying that he returned to his seat.

Suddenly all the girls there immediately looked away, embarrassed.

"Shit!!" Erlang cursed harshly, he quickly put on the hoodie, then joined h is dorm mates.

"Dating a Libra girl eh, Erlang? Isn't that wrong?" asked one of the third graders in his class. He was a little older with the title of student leader which made him a little arrogant.

Erlang looked up and glanced at him. There was clearly a tinge of contempt tucked in there. It's no secret that the position between dormitories is debated in one relationship.

For several years, and for generations there has been no phoenix dormitory child. who are interested in dating children from other dormitories, even more so with Libra's dormitory which is actually the lowest position.

They tend to prefer to deal with fellow dormitories of the same position, on an equal footing.

Erlang is the only one to break this record. Plus he's the son of the most respected minister. The news of his relationship with Maura was exactly like the news of a future king who married a slave child to be his companion.

"Come on.. we already discussed it." Gill raise your voice. "There's nothing wrong with Maura is there?" he continued.

"That girl is from the Libra dorm, this is harassment. Did that girl force you to date her?"

"Stop it!! There's nothing wrong with Maura, so stop insulting her." Bintang raised his voice he glared half annoyed and joined Gilang to confirm everything.

"What if Erlang's parents find out?"

"There's no such thing as harassment, gosh. Come on guys, Erlang is just dating nothing more. Your attitude seems to say if Erlang wants to marry her."

That's right.. what's wrong with these dorm friends.

"Erlang.."

"You guys are noisy!!" cried Erlang.

The man walked straight past the children who had wanted to interrogate him. Slowly climb the stairs to his room. He stopped at the third stair, looked around for a moment.

"I only asked him out once on Valentine's Day that's all. You guys are too much," he exclaimed, then continued his steps followed by Bintang and Gilang who ran after him.

"Shut up, you guys have heard, Erlang was just kidding. So we have nothing to be afraid of."

Erlang could still faintly hear the class president's voice, suddenly it made him annoyed for some reason.
