Chapter 69: Soothing the Kids

Li Jie turned to the girl and tried to pat her head to console her but before he could touch her head, the girl sensed it and retreated back even more.

Looking at the little girl, the people around her felt a prick in their heart. The bodyguards that were with the Li family for so long know how the family treated them. Even though they are working for them , no one in the Li family every looked down on them. They treated them very fairly. The Li's are very good people. But when they saw what this little kid of their family had gone through, they  felt god is really unfair.

  Shu fang who was angry up until now about her friend's situation felt her heart was in pain when that little baby was trembling thinking someone would hit her just because she spilled water. What must she have gone through and how cruel were those people to hit a child.
