Tonight was Andrew and my first date. Mom promised me that dad would be on his best behavior. I doubt it, but it’s worth a shot, right?

Andrew showed up, but dad beat me to the door.

/"Dad!/"

/"Oh, relax because you worry too much./" Dad patted the side of my face. He whipped open the door and wrapped his arm around Andrew’s neck. /"Andrew, my man. How’s it hanging?/"

/"Oh, about nine inches,/" Andrew said.

/"It’s good to have dreams and keep dreaming, buddy./" Dad removed his arm from Andrew’s neck and patted his chest. /"Anyway, Bella is all ready, but you’re missing something./"

/"Like what?/"

/"Flowers. Where are the flowers, you dink?/"

/"At the florist./"
