/"Did you ask me to marry you?/" She gulped.

/"I’m sure that’s what marry me means./"

She pulled away from me. /"Mack./"

/"That would be a no./"

/"It’s not a no, but I still have to finish school./" She walked over to me and placed her hands on my face.

I wrapped my arms around her waist. /"Paige, I want to marry you, have kids, and share my life with you. I want to have all that with you. Plus, I’ll be home with the little buggers./"

She chuckled.

/"Marry me./"

/"Okay./"

Well, that was better than a no. I pulled Paige to me and crashed my lips into hers. Then things got a bit unholy on the kitchen floor.

/"Mack!/"

/"Weren’t you the one that said you like to be adventurous?/"

/"Not on the damn floor!/"

/"Oh?/"

Things became heated between us.

/"Ooh, never mind./"
