Who in their right mind would let us loose in an apple orchard? I bet you’re wondering how we went to the apple orchard since our parents had grounded us. It’s easy when they go with you. Yep, we got babysitters. Well, a babysitter named Mack.

Our parents figured that we would stay out of trouble if we had Mack with us. Yeah, they were wrong. Have you met us? Better yet, have you met Mack?

Mack pulled onto the grass at the apple orchard.

/"I don’t think this is a parking spot,/" I said as he parked in the middle of the orchard.

/"Ask me if I care what you think?/" Mack asked, looking at me through the rearview mirror.

Mack got out of the car, as did the rest of us.

/"Papa, shouldn’t we park and pay for apples?/" Coop asked.
