After the incident in the empty classroom with Trent, I tried to keep my distance from him. It didn’t work, and I ended up with a black eye. Trent warned me that I would get worse if I told or warned anyone.

My dad assumed I was fighting and kept grounding me. Trent punished me when I told him I couldn’t hang out after school or leave school grounds.

People ask, why don’t you fight back? The answer is simple. When someone’s bigger and stronger than you and manipulates you, you believe them. Plus, who would believe a guy who suffers abuse?

Senior year sucked in so many ways for me. It’s all thanks because I let my guard down and trusted the wrong damn person. I had no one to blame for this mess except for myself.
