Ely gazed at him, "I want to be with you forever," she said when she subtly squeezed his hands.
"You heard that?" Maro told the blonde girl, "I will not hand her over to you. She will stay with me!"
Priestess Ruby uttered as she slowly stepped towards them, "Do you know that all those artifacts are trophies given by Priests and Priestesses of the sacred temple? Them breaking spontaneously in your presence is equivalent to a sign that you are going to break the rules of destiny, so I have to stop you from doing it-"
"What sh*t rules are you blabbering about?" Maro's angry voice echoed in the den, "I don't care about those! Ely and I will fight for our destiny!"
Ely nodded, her eyes filled with determination, and she placed her arms around Maro's waist.
"Very well. If you're both this stubborn, then…"

The reason why I am pausing this book for a few months is because of WSA 2021.
