Chapter 6: Girls just want to have fun

After last night I was lucky mom allowed me to stay at Paige’s house after the stunt Cole pulled he really had some front calling my mom and telling her I was hanging out with him and she wasn’t going to stop him we were friends and friends hung out.

Cole had no idea I was going to the party tonight I had chose not to tell him as I was goign with my friends he hadn’t asked me to hang though he wanted my answer by the end of the day. I would’ve gave it to him, but Paige grabbed my arm pulling me our of school before I even had chance to. She pulled me into the back of her dad’s stretch limo closing the door and the car pulled away. ‘I was going to see Cole I had something important to tell him.’

‘That can wait babe us girls are going to have fun tonight.’

I niodedmi didn’t ant to upset her and put a dampener on tonight I was kinda looking forward to the party.

The car pulled up outside the house and we all got out of the car running inside going upstairs to Paige’s room to change.

Once we’d all changed and applied makeup we headed out Sind got into he limo to the beach house for the 45 minute drive the music playing as we were talking, cracking jokes and drinking champagne. Not sure if it was alcoholic or not but who cares I felt so free tonight and I would pay for it in the morning, but right now I didn’t care.

The car pulled up out side the beach house the driver opened the door and we all got out he closed the door driving away. The music was loud and many people were dancing and making out in he beech god have they nerve heard of the term “Get a room” a handsome male greeted us it was Hunter Paige’s older brother he hugged and kissed us all on the cheek telling us he was glad we could make it. He showed us where we could get a drink and headed it to greet his other guests.

We all made our way inside it was rammed we had to squeeze through and grab as many drinks as we could. We made our way back out finding a space to sit and drink. I was actually glad I came I needed to be away from Cole and his friends they were suffocating me. I hadn’t had lunch with my friends for a week now and I felt lonely even in their presence.

We refreshed had more drinks and got pulled up to dance his arms sliding around me kissing my neck at a guess her brother was more drunk than us. ‘You are welcome to stay I have plenty of rooms it’s a long drive back.’ He said in my ear sending shivers down my spine, ‘we could even share a room.’ He Sis kissing my neck again.

Whowh. This was going way too fast. ‘I’m going to get a drink want one?’

I shook my head.

He kissed my cheek. ‘I won’t be long.’ He said taking his arms from around me. He turned walking away I couldn’t say I wasn’t relieved I was.

We keep dancing.’ What are you doing here Ariel?’

His voice shuddered through me. I couldn’t speak I couldn’t find the words.

‘You said you were grounded. Why are you here Ariel?’

I looked at him and simply said. ‘Girls jsut want to have fun.’

‘You’re drunk Ariel.’

‘And?’

‘You’re coming with me.’

‘No I’m not.’

‘Yes you are Ariel before you do something you regret.’

‘No.’

‘He grabbed my hand. ‘Yes you are Ariel. Now.’

‘No!’

He pulled me away. ‘Let go of me Cole sop ruining things for me.’

‘I’m not I’m doing this so you won’t regret anything in the morning.’

‘Well what I’d I want to regret something in the morning.’

‘You’re nit thing straight.’

‘I am. I made my mind up. I’m declining you’re offer.’

‘Where’s Ariel?’

‘She was here.’

‘So where’s she gone?’

‘I don’t know hunter she’s pretty waisted she could be anywhere.’

‘Shit we have to find her.’

‘Who else didn’t you invite Hunter?’

‘Some guys I know.’

‘Who Hunter?’

‘Cole and..’

‘Were goign now. What were you thinking Hunter?

‘I..’

‘Save it we have to find her.’

‘You don’t mean that you’re drunk.’ He said shaking his head.

‘I do. I’ve don’t nothing but think about it all week my mind is made up. Sorry Cole I don’t want to be like you and I won’t be joining you and and your friends now or the near future and I definitely won’t be joining you I your home. Goodbye Cole.’ I said walking away.’

‘Ariel?’

‘Where the hell can she be?’

‘She couldn’t’ve gone far.’

‘This is your fault Hunter.’

‘Don’t blame me.’

‘You invited them.’

‘I didn’t think they would show. I mean it’s almost two in the fucking morning I asked her to stay and I thought all of you would too.’

‘You did what? Are you in fucking sain Hunter? You’re hitting thirty she’s; not even sixteen.’

‘I like her what can I say.’

‘Stop thinking with your sick for once and use your fucking brain.’

‘I do.’ He paused. ‘So what’s with her, Cole and his friends any way?’

‘No ducking idea we think she’s his new project.’

‘Is he bullying her?’

‘Not like the other’s no, but she shit scared of him.

‘Do you think she told him what she was going to tell him yesterday.’

‘God I hope not. Ariel.’ Laura shouted. We all walked across the beech shouting her but nothing.

Ariel’s eyes flicked opening where the hell was she she wasn’t where she was supposed to be. Shot her friends. Shit they’d be out lookign for her.

‘Good morning Ariel.

He smiled.

‘Where am I?’

‘No no I can’t be.’

‘Liek I said I take no for an answer. I told you if you said no I’d bring you here any way.’
