Synopsis
Kalia is a war hero and commander that put an end to the past war. But one day, she finds out that she’s . . . pregnant?! Of all people, the father of the baby is Simon Terroan, her best friend and archmage, whom she spent a single passionate night with. Believing that Simon doesn’t want the baby, Kalia hides the truth of her pregnancy, then retires from her job and disappears while Simon is away in order to have her baby. For those who likes touching, motherly kinda story, this is best for yall. I really love how the story is about a single mom...or I can say that, live a life to the fullest with her child. Struggling on her own feet and clinging to life. But anyhow I'm very grateful for those two who always besides her when she's away from the capital. Btw, just read it cause its kinda satisfying. I wish there were more chapters. I'm hooked! Has good pacing too. Characters are a bit hard to decipher, but who doesn't like a hot ML and a strong FL. At first glance I thought this novel would be very superficial but you can see the story starting to really fill out and expand past just the personal struggles.
