Chapter 63: Aren vs Ryo part 1

Aren was hiding in the forest. He killed anyone who came after him one by one, feeding their corpses to the insects.

"I can't wait here any longer. This is taking too much time," he muttered to himself.

Leaving the forest, he blended into the bustling crowd of the island. As he wandered through a narrow street, he spotted a patrolling officer. Moving towards the man without drawing attention, Aren realized that attacking him now would be unwise—there were too many people around. But an idea struck him. Clenching his index finger, his nail grew long and razor-sharp.

As he brushed past the man, he swiftly made a small puncture in the officer's neck and continued walking as if nothing had happened.
