Chapter 245: Last quest on Erok. Part 3. [A sacrifice]

Dragon lord, also known as the mountain god of the five Peak mountains lives near the border of Romos. For centuries, the mountain god has protected the land from demonic beast invasion and in exchange, people have offered virgins, especially young elf virgins, every 10 years.

Nobody knows what the mountain god does with the virgins yet, nobody bothered to look for the answer. It has been a ritual for elves since the beginning of their country's foundation. 

This is where everything goes wrong. The elven kingdom is situated beside Romos and a shadow forest where demonic beasts live. Since the elven people sacrifice a virgin every 10 years, the mountain god eats and protects the elven kingdom. 

But the mountain god does not protect Romos from the demonic beasts, which is why the people living near the border do not have any life safety. The king has tried so many times to follow the same ritual as the elven people but he found no result.
