The palace seemed familiar. She looked around and realized where she was. For a moment, she felt lost. How can I possibly wait?

A gentle tap on her shoulder made her turn ready to defend herself only for her arms to fall back. Smiling back at her was her mother.

The woman whose presence she had missed. Her sentimental heart urged her to walk closer while her rational mind froze her in place. 

Was this an illusion? The last conscious thing she remembers was telling Malik the truth. After her little confession, the prince had fallen into a contemplative silence.

Queen Zainab smiled at her daughter."Child, you must be confused about things. Just so you know, this is your subconscious mind wandering. For some reason, it's me you needed hence your presence back here.
