Chapter 88: His Will

The air around the witch valley was thick with sadness and anxiety. The unfortunate event that had unfolded a few days ago had spread like a wave of fire in the wild. The tales came in every shape and form, yet it all began and ended within the realm.

The witches were extremely loyal to each other. No matter the minor internal stifles they may have from time to time, they all spoke the same language where their lives were at stake.

In this case, they were in danger of facing a war from one of the two major clans. They neither could afford the deaths nor could they survive one. That wasn't the main issue though. What most felt sad about was how their princess laid her life in the hands of her lover.

Such love wasn't easy to come by. Back at the palace, Fiona felt vulnerable and utterly helpless for the very first time in her life. It has been five days. Five agonizing days since she thought she lost her daughter.
