Chapter 71: Getting along

The next day, Arsalan made an effort to interact with Adora without the awkwardness that have settled in his heart. What happened the previous night was imprinted in his mind and would probably take a very long time to be forgotten. It was almost the same for Adora, only that she was now more interested in knowing about the man.

They were currently having breakfast together. Being their first time together, it was hard to break the tension between them. Adora wanted to ask questions. Mind you, she wasn't shy or anything. Rather, she did twat to scare the man away. He looked too innocent for his good.

At first glance, he would give one an impression of a playboy who was well versed in all manners of seduction and wooing the ladies. It was after the event of the night that she realized otherwise. Looks were indeed deceiving and his in particular were the perfect camouflage to hide his innocence.
