Chapter 112: Drums of war

Arsalan felt dizzy after standing up for long but he wasn't ready to let go of her. A few minutes ago, he thought that he had lost her once more. He would rather she stay with him, no matter how many times she stabbed him in the back.

The pain would be there but nothing compared to losing her. He was almost insane for the first week without her. Arsalan had grown attached and extremely dependent on her. His smiles were for her and his tears belonged only to her.

Zamarad was right. He would rather give a second chance than live with regrets. As far as he was concerned, he didn't want anything to do with any other woman. No one was perfect. It was up to him to choose his imperfectly perfect partner and learn to love her imperfections.
