As he left the pub, Aiden walked through the chaotic area, navigating the maze of tents and run-down buildings.

The resting places described by the bartender matched the grim surroundings: low-class tents offering little more than a patch of ground and a thin cover, low-class inns with filthy rooms that reeked of decay, and finally, mid-class inns—basic but clean, with simple wooden beds and thin sheets.

Although he could afford the high-class inns, Aiden knew better than to draw attention to himself. Opting for the mid-class option, he approached one of the more stable-looking buildings, its entrance guarded by a gruff-looking attendant with a deep scar running down his cheek.

The attendant sneered as Aiden approached. "Go somewhere else, kid. This isn't a place you can afford."

Unfazed, Aiden reached into his pocket and placed three low mana crystals on the counter. The man's eyes flicked down to the crystals, a single brow raising in mild surprise.
