Chapter 216: Are you a ghost?

Yi Chen somehow found himself back at the perron. This time he chose to run up the stairs and entered the first opened door he could find. It turns out it was a master bedroom. Using whatever little of his mental power he had he flung the furniture at the creature hot at his tail.

He wanted to fire his energy rifle again but to do that he had to be under the creature because that was its weakest point. Several times he had tried to do that but the creatures avoided that as much as possible. This meant they were intelligent just like the ones that attacked Capital Star.

Yi Chen slammed into the wall avoiding another one of those spikes when he heard a beeping sound coming from behind him. When he turned his head back to take a look a small part of the wall broke into hives and he fell through.
