Chapter 17: Fate or Mistake

One month. That’s how long Taryn and I have been together. Even though we’ve only been a couple for a month, I can already see a future with her.

When we’re not working, we spend most of our nights, cooking dinner, watching the Telly, and making love. Most mornings, we run on the beach with Logan and Bella, then we shower, and I take her back home. Due to her father’s recurring seizures, she tries to be home as much as she can, which means we have to take advantage of the time we have. Willa has been a great help, and so has the nurse that I hired to help around the house.

Nights without her are difficult. I’ve become so accustomed to holding her in my arms that I can’t sleep. For a while now, I’ve considered asking her and her family to move in with me, but I hesitate. It’s not that I don’t want them here, it’s more that I don’t want to move too quickly.
