Chapter 9: Chapter 9: Fight For Su Li
The moment Su Wong said this, Yang Len and Su Ping tense up, as they know what their parents were going to talk about. This made the both of them very nervous that they sweat.
Just as Su Wong was about to continue, he was stopped by Yang Lin.
"Brother Wong, i'm sorry I didn't say this sooner but, my son and I both made a promise with each other. We promised that once Yang Len meet Su Li, he would decide whether he would be her fiance or not after getting to know her." Yang Lin said apologetically.
Su Wong sigh
"Maybe I was being to hasty with myself. That's fine brother Lin, we'll let both Yang Lin and Su Li get to know each other first before coming back to discuss the matter at the evening. Su Li would you mind showing Yang Len around the manor."
Su Li shyly nodded and looked at Yang Len
"Would you like me to show you around the manner?"
"S-sure why not." Yang Len thought that when Su Li spoke, she look even cuter and this made him stuttered a bit.
Seeing that Yang Len agreeing, Yang Lin and Xu Caihong let out a sigh of relieve. Yang Sen on the other hand just thought that ( of course when I talked to him, he doesn't answer but when a pretty girl like Su Li speaks to him, he replies back. Jeez how typical).
Su Li then lead Yang Len out of the room, showing him around the manor. With nothing else to do, Yang Sen asked his father if he could go around looking at the city. Yang Lin agreed but he would need to take Yang Nen, Su Pi, Yang Yi as well. Yang Sen agreed, and so with Yang Nen, Yang Yi and Su kai that Su Wong ordered to go as well went to dragon city, Su's shopping district.

The reason why it was called Su's shopping district was because the Su clan ancestor, Su Kong was the original owner of this land and even though this city is now of the imperial soaring flame family. The Su clan is still the governor of this city and with this, they were able to save the name from changing.
The group went to visit many shops in this district, especially the toys shop where Yang Nen and Su Pi spend hours in there. Yang Sen thought that he would finally be able to go try out new exotic foods in dragon city but he was wrong. Because Yang Nen was a spoiled brat and would cry every time Yang Sen he wanted to go to a restaurant, Yang Nen would cry.
Lazy to deal with this, Yang Sen just went with the flow and followed Yang Nen an entire day. As they were going back to the mansion, Yang Sen looks like a worn-out skeleton while Yang Nen was cheerfully talking with Su Pi.
As they got back to the room, everyone that went shopping was shock to see Yang Len and Su Li talking so comfortably with each other. Yang Sen was so shock that he went up to his brother and put his hand on Yang Len's forehead.
"Bro Len, alright right? an impostor didn't replace right?"
Yang Len gently slapped Yang Sen hand off his forehead
"Little Sen, can't you see i'm having a conversation with miss Li over here. So would you mind not interrupting us" said Yang Len with an upset face.
Yang Sen was even more dumbfounded, with big eyes Yang Sen replied
"Who are you?"
Seeing that things weren't going well Su Li explained
"Young master Sen, its not what you think. Young master Len and I just love talking about cultivation."
"Ah, I see...." Yang Sen said this while pretending to understand but in actuality, he was still wondering was his brother an impostor.
"Hahaha.... looks like my Su Li has warm up to your son brother Lin" smiled Su Wong.
"The same could be said about Yang Len" now Yang Lin smiled.
"Those 2 are a match don't you think" now Xu Caihong was also chiming in.
everybody were talking about Yang Len and Su Li bot the both of them didn't care and talk more about the stuff they love.
"Well since those 2 too are happy maybe we shoul-"
Then suddenly the door was slam opened in the middle of Su Wong's sentence.
Bam!
"WHO DAR- Wang Po? what are you doing here?"
Wang Po was the man that had slam the door opened. He was the patriarch of the Wang clan, that was located at red blossom valley. He had red fiery hair, a fierce look but handsome face and wore red clothing. Behind there were 2 other people. They were his son Wang Shin and his wife Wang Ni.
When Yang Sen saw Wang Shin, he was surprised. He didn't know where he had seen him before or why he felt so familiar, but one thing was for sure. The strange feeling he felt a week ago till now was coming all from him, this gave Yang Sen goosebumps.
"Why I have come here? you know perfectly why I have come here?" Wang po said this calmly but his word made the surrounding area around him hot.
"Su Wong, never in my entire life have I treated you badly even once, but help you every time you were in need. I treated you like a brother, but never in my entire life have I seen a scumbag! like you before."
"Enough! Wang Po, I'll ask again, why have you come here."
Wang Po really stared at Su Wong coldly, then answered
"You know, I heard a really interesting piece of news from one of my subordinate. He said that you were going to betrothed the Su Li to the Yang clan eldest son. Tell me am I wrong, is it wrong for me to get mad, when my son was the one who was supposed to be betrothed."
When everyone heard this piece of news, everyone was shock. This meant that Su Li wasn't supposed to be betrothed to Yang Len but another kid that wasn't even in the Yang Clan. Seeing that Su Wong was having a tough time dealing with this, he decide to give him a hand.
"Wang clan patriarch, I don't know what history you have with brother Wong, but if it ends the matters here, why don't I and brother Wong compensate you with something else."
"You actually think its that easy? to being back stabbed by the one you had trusted for ages? there will be no need for compensation, if anyone of Yang Lin son's manage to be my son, i'll forget about this matter and never bring it up ever again. But if you lose, I want Su Wong to betrothed her daughter to my son. How about this, seems fair don't you think?"
Yang Lin and Su Wong when to discuss with each other for a moment. Yang Len was now coldly staring at Wang Shin and Yang Sen could see that he didn't want to lose Su Li, even though they only known each other for a day.
After talking it out with each other, Yang Lin and Su Wong told that they would agree to any of Yang Lin's sons fighting and if any one of them win, then Wang Po would stop bothering them.
Yang Len was the most obvious choice to choose to go battle Su shin because he had a really high cultivation and was the one betrothed to Su Li. Yang Sen was the second option, although his cultivation level were ways behind Yang Len, his ability to schemed said otherwise. He would use every item he possesed and claimed victory. Yang Nen on the other hand wasn't even an option, due to him not even stepping into the houtian realm yet.
As they discussed back and forth, everyone decided that Yang Len would go first and end this quickly. everyone left the room to go to the Su's clan sparring arena where they will battle it out.
Standing on the sparring arena on the right was Wang Shin and on the left was Yang Len.
"The battle for miss Su Li will started now fight!" said one of the Su clansmen overseeing the match.
Yang Len was the first one to released his cultivation, revealing him to be a level 7 houtian. This made Wang Po and his wife a bit scared for their son when seeing this, But Wang Shin wasn't scared and also released his cultivation, revealing him to be a level 3 houtian.
The people on Yang Len side calm-down when they saw this , this meant the match wasn't going to last for very long. Seeing that his opponent was a few level lower than him, he relaxed himself and said.
"Young master Wang Shin, I advice you to step-down right now because i'm not going to go easy on you."
Wang Shin looked at Yang Len coldly and just stayed silent
"Then so be it, don't tell me I didn't warn you."
And so Yang Len charge ahead making his first move upon Wang Shin.
