Knock! Knock!
The door to Benjamin and Melody's room opened Melody peeked inside to find Benjamin sitting down in front of the window. He's been doing that a lot lately, even before Rosalie went missing. Melody was extremely worried for her husband, especially after she overheard the twins' conversation with Rosalie.
She loved her husband very much and would do anything for him. But she also made a promise to her best friend, love him, care for him, protect him. Melody wouldn't know what to do with herself if Benjamin died, he was everything to her and if he died, she was going to die right alongside him.
"My love, Gio is here to talk to you," Melody softly informed before looking back at Giovanni, nodding with a weak smile on her face, "Go right ahead, sweetheart, I'll be right downstairs," she said as Giovanni nodded before entering the room, closing the door behind.
Silence filled the room as Giovanni walked towards Benjamin before kneeling in front of him, "Please talk to me," he pleaded as Benjamin remained silent, staring out of the window, "Did you find my granddaughter?" He asked, breaking the silence, "No, but I promise we'll find her," Giovanni said, grabbing onto his wheelchair, "Then there's nothing to talk about," Benjamin said, finally looking down at him, who looked at him desperately, "There is, please," he pleaded as Benjamin's eyes softened, "It's Genesis, isn't it?" He asked as Giovanni nodded, "He's out of control and I'm worried about him, he's never been like this before," he said as Benjamin sighed, "Did they have sex?" Benjamin asked as Giovanni frowned, "A while back, but what's that got to do with him going full beast mode?" He asked as Benjamin smiled slightly.
Male wolves are always protective when their mates a baring their pups, it's as if their humanity shifts, letting their animal instincts take over," Benjamin explained as Giovanni's eyes widened, "P-Pregnant? But how, there was no heartbeat and they had sex almost three weeks ago," he said as Benjamin nodded, "His wolf probably sensed that she will be pregnant, to my displeasure," he said as Giovanni cracked a smile before sighing.
"I knew this day would come," Benjamin said as Giovanni looked at him, "You want to leave, don't you?" He asked, causing Giovanni to feel vulnerable, "There's nothing more for me here, we want to marry her, Benjamin, and if you said about her being pregnant or in the process of being pregnant, then after we kill Mateo, we'll be Alpha and start our own pack," he said as Benjamin smiled sadly, "There will be only one Alpha. Gio," he said, earning a tight-lipped smile, "Genesis was always the smartest of us both, my father used to joke around and say that out of the two of us, my funeral would be the first that he would have to attend to," he said as his eyes glossed over.
"I trust Genesis with my life and if I'm not there, I can trust that he'll protect what's ours," he said as Benjamin placed his hand on Giovanni's cheek, "I'm proud of you, of the man that you've become, and I give you my full blessing," he said as Giovanni nodded before tears began streaming down his face, "It's you, isn't, the one that's going to die?" He asked as Benjamin nodded with tears in his eyes.
"I'm afraid so."

After visiting his parent's grave, Genesis stormed into the forest. Rosalie, that's all he was thinking about. But what angered him more was the fact that although he thought and worried about it, he still had no possible way of what Mateo could be doing to her, and the feeling of the unknown was shattering his mental state.
He needed to cool off. He had no idea why his wolf was so aggressive lately. He felt confused, he was always the calm and in-control twin and now he didn't know how to sort his feelings out without wanting to kill someone. He thought it was Rosalie, their bonds, and how separated they were now, but he felt like it was more than that.
Walking through the forest in his wolf form, Genesis tried searching for Rosalie, trying to find a clue to her disappearance, a scent, a piece of clothing, or anything that could give him some kind of hope. He went back to the square, sniffing outside the entrance where Rosalie last was, and her scent was present along with Mateo's and Blake's. He felt hope as he tried following their scents, but it stopped, right off the edge of the forest and vanished.
Frustration took over Genesis's senses, which soon turned into anger as he lets out a loud, powerful roar that shook the atmosphere. Not knowing how to contain his emotions, Genesis took off, purposely slamming into a giant tree as the top half bent over and break in half.
A pair of eyes watched Genesis's rampage with a smirk on her lips. Those pair of eyes belonged to someone who has admired and loved Genesis from the very day she had laid eyes on him, but she kept those feelings to herself.

That would cost her, a head now that Mateo was Alpha, besides, Indie knew that both Genesis and Giovanni were mated to Rosalie, so she had no chance even if she tried. But that doesn't mean that she had completely given up.
She was a messenger, and her master wanted those to know that he had finally gotten his Luna, and she thought that the first set of people should know, would be the ones that were the closest to her new Luna, so she followed him.

Indie followed him to their secret hideout. She always wanted to know what it was like, what it looked like, and what it felt like to go there, and when she did. She understood why they loved and cherish this part of the forest, it was peaceful and calming. But that wasn't the reason she came here.
Genesis still hasn't noticed Indie, anger was still clouding his mind as he walked over the stone bridge, put to the waterfall before walking behind the waters, disappearing from Indie's sight.
Looking around for any other way to get to the waterfall, Indie sighed when she realized there wasn't, so she followed Genesis's footsteps, across the stone bridge that led to the waterfall as she pulled herself up. Standing in front of the falling water, she tried to remember where Genesis had passed to get behind the waterfall until she saw a little entrance.
Inhaling deeply, Indie walked through the entrance that took her behind the waters and into a dark cave. A frown grew on Indie's face as she looked around. Genesis was nowhere to be found and she swore she saw him go behind the waterfall.
Growing frustrated, Indie was about to give up, when she heard a growl, causing her to freeze in her spot. Forcefully swallowing, Indie slowly turned around to find two glowing eyes floating in the dark. Her heart pounded in her chest as she raised her hands in surrender, while he continued to growl at her, "What do you want?" He asked as his voice echoed in her head, sending shivers down her spine.
"I have information about your mate."

Mateo has been giddy ever since Rosalie kissed him, and although it was just a peck, it was perfect for him. Leaving the room, Mateo looked like a high school boy who fell in love for the first time. He watched Rosalie as if she had placed the stars in the sky, but there were stars in his eyes. They walked beside one another with her arm hooked around his. They walked as if they were a king and queen and, Mateo loved it.
Rosalie would admit, the house was beautiful, but it wasn't her home. She felt disgusted knowing that she had to pretend to love this man, but she has to do, what she has to do to survive and get back to her loved ones, "My love?" Mateo called out as Rosalie mentally grimace, "Yes?" She looked at him, making her eyes softer as she looked at him through the roofs of her eyelashes, "May I get access to your inner wolf, I'd like to speak to you in my mind?" He asked as Rosalie tensed up before immediately relaxing as a frown appeared on Mateo's face.
"What's wrong, you don't trust me?" He asked as she shook her head, "No, it's just I thought you could already do that," she replied as the frown disappeared and he hummed, "Normally wolves could unless the person's inner wolf has placed a barrier to protect their inner wolf and mind, and it seems that your wolf is doing the same," he said as Rosalie mentally rolled her eyes, "Oh," Rosalie replied, "Yes, she seems to have put up some kind of barrier that I can't penetrate, can you speak with her?" He explained before asking as Rosalie flashed a weak smile, "I can't try, she's a bit stubborn," she said as Mateo nodded before watching as her eyes began to glow.
"Listen to me, Kamari, we have to do this, its the only way to gain his full trust," she said as Kamari growled at her, "What about the twins, how will they be able to contact us if we were to ever see them, this is our privacy, by doing this your surrendering completely to him," Kamari argued as Rosalie sighed, "Do you want to get out of here, you heard Koa, we have to play our part, destroy the army within," Rosalie said as Kamari sighed in defeat, "Fine, but I'm not talking to him," she said before letting her walls down as Mateo smiled before his eyes glowed, "Hello, love," he greeted in her head as Rosalie smiled.
"Hey Mateo," she greeted back as Mateo chuckled, "Where's your wolf, I'd like to meet her?" He asked as Rosalie sighed, "Kamari is still a bit stubborn, she doesn't want to talk to you," she replied as Mateo growled in anger causing Rosalie to flinch as her glowing eyes disappeared, "I'm sorry, I'll keep trying," she whispered, stepping away from him as his glowing eyes disappeared before he stepped forward to gently grab her forearms.
"I didn't mean to scare you, my love, my wolf got a bit angry at Kamari's stubbornness," he said as Rosalie slowly nodded before moving closer to lay on his chest as his heart pounded.
"Please tell him that I'm sorry, and please don't be mad at his Luna, we're sorry."

"Where is she, what the hell is he doing to her?" Genesis furiously asked as Indie stared at him, "Nothing is happening to your precious mate, I'm just the messenger here with a message," she replied as Genesis snorted in disgust.
To Genesis, Indie was the most untrustworthy amongst Mateo's inner circle, along with her brother Koa, who Genesis knew well enough to understand that he is Rosalie's biological brother. Both siblings watched from the sidelines, they were secretive and cunning. They did all the spreading for Marcus and now Mateo because people trusted them easily because they stay out of the drama.
Genesis also knew of Indie's feelings for him, he would admit, she was a beautiful girl, but her personality was nasty, and besides, he was gifted with the perfect person that he was going to spend the rest of his life.
If Indie came to Genesis with a message, he knew it had something to do with Mateo making Rosalie do something that would probably get understand his skin, but as those words left Indie's lips, the only thing that Genesis could've seen afterward was red.
"Rosalie has accepted Mateo's proposal, she's the new Luna."
