Extracting the lycan out of Cane and devour its soul would solve Decratic's problem quickly and more so, it would devastate Iris to know her mate was being harmed. That's the end goal of him. Crushed Iris's hope again and again, until she was afraid to even have a shred of hope.

"We need to do something," Elder Rania said, she watched how the alpha shifted into his lycan form and all of them gasped. 

Alpha Derick stood in front of Cezi, as if protecting his son from this cursed creature. He didn't see Cane, neither the son of his best friend, but something ominous, a creature that shouldn't be existed, thing that should be destroyed. 

"No." Elder Xarex brought the other elders to the sideline, so they wouldn't be in a way of what would happen soon. "Let's watch."

"What do you mean? If the lycan is in Decratic's hand then the sixth sword…"
