"What do you mean by that?" Haco got this feeling that there was something more to Lu's words. He hunched his back, waiting for his answer. "Lu, at least, have some decency and tell me what it is. You have used me for five whole decades."

Lu stared at Haco. "You have at least a year more left."

"Why so? Are you being a clairvoyant now?"

"I was extracted from you. You can say I have been your life force for the past five decades, your life force is attached to me." Lu crossed his arms in front of his chest, staring at Haco lazily, while the sorcerer tried to process this piece of information.

"And why is it only my life force that's attached to you? Why isn't it vice versa?" Haco was still hoping that Lu just said something nonsense, but then if there was something he really knew about this lycan; he was always true to his words.
