Chapter 465: SACRIFICE

The King taunted Cane intentionally and the latter knew about that, but it didn't mean his blood didn't boil with anger when his mother was being disrespected like that. 

He could feel this anger slither up his veins, but it was not only him, there was another strong feeling running through his mind at this moment as he stole a glance at Lady Cyan briefly. 

The lycan inside him awakened and the sight of Lady Cyan stirred his wrath. 

It didn't happen before. When he met with Lady Cyan, the lycan always stayed dormant. What was different now? Was it because he could sense Iris was in danger and all of this was because of this mistress?

Cane glanced at Iris, her small face scrunched up, as she glared at King Aeon with such strong disgust upon reading what he said about his mother. Weirdly, he felt a little bit better seeing his mate so angry on behalf of him.
