Chapter 609: MAPLE LEAVES

Somehow, recently Iris had been desired for her mate more, she wanted his attention and to touch him ever so often, but unfortunately, Cane was always busy. 

The alpha would comeback late at night and left before she woke up, there were only a few interactions between them during the day and Iris tried to focus on something else, but Cane's absence frustrated her. 

And this afternoon, she didn't wish to do anything. She only wanted to be alone, since she was too tired to go out. Her mood has been low lately. 

Thinking Cane must be busy right now, or so she thought, she held herself back from looking for him. 

A few days ago, Iris overheard one of the mistresses of alpha Adrian spoke about how she could get pregnant. No, she actually read their conversation from afar. 

The gist of it was; their position when they did the deed could raise a possibility to get pregnant.
