Lyra's POV:

I don't know why the white quantinite rocks flashed in my head instead of the green but I had a notion to try it out. Since I had already displayed my magical abilities earlier, there was no need to hide it now.

To the amazement of Alpha Torrain, I opened up the quantinite rocks and brought out the white quantinite rocks. I had not yet found how to use them and I was just doing this purely by instinct.

"What is that and what do you want to do?" Alpha Torrain asked.

"I don't know but I have a feeling it might work," I said, although not confidently. I felt like a fool but it was better to be a fool if there was a chance for me to save the people in this pack from hunger.

"What do you mean you don't know" the farm head that was with us thundered.
