Lyra's POV

I heard the footsteps of someone and as the person opened the door, I was shocked as there stood the most beautiful woman I had ever seen.

She was dressed in a simple green gown that was flowing to her ankles. Her hair was blond, her nose a perfectly pointed shape, and her eyes were a bright shade of blue. Her skin was like porcelain and was flawless. She was an astonishing beauty.

She ran towards Jasper and checked him for any sign of bruises. Two servants came with a broom and parker to clean the mess that I had made by falling the case in Jasper's head.

She looked at me as if trying to discern me from my look. "And who may you be?" She asked.

"My name is...."

"She is Lyra and my mate," Alexander answered in my stead. "You have always wanted to meet my mate's mother. Well, here she is!"
