Samson's Point of View



Central Police Station

"Hey, Samson!"

"Yes, Chief?" I replied.

I liked the boss. He was a werewolf for the local pack that ran the city. His pack was part of the Kingdom and was an ally of ours.

"We've got a couple of possible victims, and we need a translator. Arrange that, please," he requested.

"Sure thing, Chief. What language?"

"Chinese, Mandarin. Get someone who can translate."

Well now. I knew exactly who I could ask. Aláine. Damn, that girl was hot, but she refused every time I asked her out. What's with that anyway. Human males have got nothing on me. I am fit and muscular and fairly handsome to boot. I guess I need to up my game.

Even though she is a human and not my mate, I'd still go there. If I didn't find my mate, then maybe the Alpha would let me turn her anyway. It's not like there are too many of us.
