Chapter 137: Oberon's fear

Nyx sat in the living room, knitting a sweater. Archi went up to meet her, sitting on her lap.

 "Mother," he called.

 "Yes?"

"I can not sleep. I feel restless."

She looked down at him, "what is the matter?"

"I had a terrifying dream. It is still bothering me," he closed his eyes, resting his head in her bosom.

"What was it about?"

 He pouted, "I saw.. him.."

"Who?"

"Father's uncle."

 "Okay? What did he do?"

"He was chasing me, with a sword. I outran him in the beginning, but it seemed he was catching up to me."

 Nyx listened patiently, her heart racing with anxiety.

 "He eventually caught up with me, and drew out his sword to slay me. Then, out of no where, father came, and slew him instead."

 Nyx raised her brows, "Oh?"

He nodded, "it was terrifying. There was blood, and a lot of other terrifying things in that dream," he sniffled.
