Chapter 81: Lady Nyx

Oberon sat on his throne, still soaked in worry. He didn't want to imagine Nyx's reaction, he held his head, still expecting their return.

He stood up and paced around the room, "Why are they not back yet?"

He bit his lips, still waiting for them.

"Please, Nyx, come back with them, please," he muttered.

He sat down again but this time not on his throne. He held his head, "What have I done?"

A bodyguard entered, "Your Majesty," he bowed.

He raised his head, "Any news?"

"The elders have returned your majesty," he said.

He stood up, tension in his eyes, "Did they come with Nyx?"

He shook his head, "I do not know your majesty," he bowed his head.

His face fell, "Okay, thank you," he said.

He bowed and left the throne room.

A few minutes later, the elders filed into the room, they all did obeisance.

"Good day your highness," Demetrius greeted.
