"Madam," Benjamin gently interrupted, kneeling before her, his voice soft yet firm. "Mr. Morgan is the future of this family. One day, when he grows up and has his own heir… the cycle will continue. The old branch of a tree falls, and a new one takes its place. It's the natural order of things, the rule of this world…" 

Gloria scoffed coldly, her bitterness evident. "Still, sometimes I just don't understand, Ben. There are so few people I trust who haven't betrayed me. You're one of the rare few, and for that, I'm truly grateful." 

Her words, tinged with sorrow and frustration, seemed to echo in the stillness, a testament to the burden she carried. 

Benjamin's voice carried a subtle edge of restrained anger as he continued, "It's not your fault for placing your trust in them, Madam. They wasted your good intentions."
