His brain kept convincing him that he would discover a horrible crime scene, lest finding Adrian as a victim. 

The curly head flinched back in shock when he found out whose blood was flowing beneath his feet.

Dylan almost staggered back when he saw the lifeless body of a familiar chihuahua laying on the ground. 

This dog... Wasn't it Starla's dog...?

Anger and pain flooded his chest at once, he had no idea who could be cruel enough to do such a horrible thing to an animal. 

But just as he crouched down and reached out his trembling hand, a loud shattering sound distracted him.
