He might have said those words in such a convincing tone, but the real intention behind it remained the same. So instead of stopping Clyde, Vincent would try to stop Ryley instead.
It might sound like a nonsense, but getting his plan into motion from this point on influenced every decision Vincent would make in the future.
Ryley pursed his lips when he heard it, and since he could read between the man's words well, he didn't immediately reply and just rolled his eyes at Vincent.
