"What should we do now? Perhaps we need to consult—"

"No, absolutely not!" Adrian immediately rejected his assistant's idea flat out. He snatched all the scattering papers nearby then shoved it inside a brown envelope and threw it on his main desk.

"Nobody should know about this. Nobody! Do you understand?" He exclaimed, his tone was full of pressure.

Adrian then exhaled his frustration but still couldn't get rid of the anxious look on his face.

For now, he concluded that the poison didn't harm Ryley but strangely boosted the progesterone level in his blood.

Of course he had his own doubt when he first read the report. Adrian suspected that maybe Ryley was actually an Omega.

Otherwise, why would his body respond to this drug by preparing everything needed for a pregnancy?
