Such a cheerful invitation sounded so grim to her, piercing her eardrum like a shot of frozen arrow.

Rachel had a hard time trying to reach the wine glass that Ryley had just put down beside her plate, her eyes glared at her side and saw a glimpse of her brother's disdainful look.

She couldn't help but feeling that Ryley was trying to corner her. Otherwise, why would he suddenly want to drink wine and ask her to join him?

What if Ryley put a poison in it?

What if he wanted to take revenge for what she did to him that night?

Seeing the faint tremor in his sister's hand movement, Ryley casually asked his parents and 'new guard' to join him.

"Ah, why don't we just toast together?" He said then walked back to his chair, standing still.

The clattering sound around the dining table stopped for a while. Rena and Michael looked at each other and innocently questioned their son's invitation.
