However, Lucas wasted no time and bolted into the driver's seat. 

The moment he stared at the rearview mirror, he ran into Clyde's vicious gaze and harsh voice. "What are you waiting for? Run the car!" 

Heavy tension clogged the atmosphere inside the car now that Clyde suddenly looked cold and distant. Nobody dared to speak a word until Ryley fought back his fear and scooted closer.

He mustered up his courage and reached out his hand to grasp the Alpha's clenched fist, but when he accidentally caught Clyde's bloody knuckles, his brown eyes widened in shock and he asked worriedly, "What happened to you?!"

The Alpha didn't shrug off Ryley's touch but still refused to look at him in the eyes. "It's nothing, it's not my blood anyway," he said, which made Ryley swallow his throat for the umpteenth time. 

What did he mean it wasn't his blood? So whose blood was it?

Did he beat up people again like last time?
